WELCOME TO THE ST. EVAL ARCHIVES

Saint Eval Archive is collection of local photos, stories, videos from a destinctive Cornish coastal community.

The The aim of St Eval Archive is to record the people, the history and the landscape online, so everybody can enjoy!

St Eval Archive is a not-for-profit community group. Income or Property held by the archive will not be distrubuted to it’s members during the lifetime of St Eval Archive.

If St Eval archive is wound up or dissolved, the organisation’s assets will be distrubuted to another charitable or not-for-profit organisation and not the organisations members.

This constitution was adopted December 10th 2010.

Garceau

The Garceau family moved to Porthcothan from France in the early twentieth century. Gilbert Garceau lived at Trebears. He was a farmer and painter. He wrote a book about Porthcothan.
